Tactical Support Squads replace the utilitarian bolter of their comrades with more specialised weapons, enabling a Legiones Astartes strike force to act with even more versatility and engage a wider range of targets on its own terms. Each of the armaments used by Tactical Support Squads has its place – flamers are ideal for clearing bunkers, trenches, and urban zones, while rapid-firing rotor cannons see use against hordes of lightly-armoured foes. Meltaguns provide bursts of thermic energy for tank-busting, and volatile plasma guns can melt even heavily-armoured elites. Arcane volkite weapons – both the volkite caliver and lighter volkite charger – sear through targets with beams of thermal energy.

This plastic upgrade kit can be used to equip Legionaries from the MKVI Tactical Squad set with powerful special weapons, suitable for use in a Legion Tactical Support Squad. The kit includes 10 flamers, 10 plasma guns, 10 meltaguns, 10 rotor cannons, 10 volkite chargers, and 10 volkite calivers, allowing you to upgrade up to three full MKVI Tactical Squad sets into six Tactical Support Squads of 10 models, or 12 units of five models. The kit includes five slightly different designs for each type of special weapon, ensuring your Legionaries will remain distinct when massed on the battlefield.

This upgrade kit comprises 100 plastic components and is designed to be assembled with the MKVI Tactical Squad set, which is sold separately. These components are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and either the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book or Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book to make full use of these upgrades.

Refunds

You may return sealed product within 30 days of its purchase from Chimera Gaming Inc., unworn or unused, in its original packaging, and with original receipt from time of purchase.

If the item was shipped and you wish to return it, the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case that the nature of the return was an error made by Chimera Gaming (ex. the wrong item was sent)

Once a return is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Other refunds will be handled on a case by case basis. Refunds to credit cards may take up to 5 business days to process depending on your financial institution.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Due to the ever constant changes in pricing, we do not accept returns on singles.

Products ordered specifically at a customer’s request, which we do not normally stock, are non-returnable. All special orders are considered final sale.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Restocking Fee Policy
A 10% restocking fee will be applied under any or all of the following circumstances:

  • The order was cancelled for reasons other than our error (e.g., buyer’s remorse, incorrect order by customer)
  • The order has already been prepared and a "ready for pickup" email was sent.

The restocking fee is automatically deducted from a refund amount. If the cancelled order was unpaid for, the restocking fee will need to be paid before a new order can be placed and completed. 

This policy is in place to ensure we are covered for the labor costs and potential losses incurred during the time that any items/singles were being held for a customer. It also deters customers from regularly cancelling orders.
